OVERVIEW

This 1993 Volgren Omnibus is a great candidate for the ultimate motorhome conversion or for commercial use. The bus runs and drives smoothly, with automatic front and rear doors, it’s ready for a new owner to put it to work or transform it into a unique living space.

With ample seating and an inline 6-cylinder diesel engine, this classic bus is a reliable and versatile option. The push-button automatic transmission ensures easy, smooth driving over long distances.

Inside, the bus is fitted with 46 seats, providing plenty of space for passengers. The interior remains in decent original condition overall. Additionally, the bus can lower hydraulically, offering easier access for passengers to alight and disembark. The driver’s seat is equipped with suspension, ensuring a comfortable ride even on longer trips. Internal passenger grab bars and stop signal buttons are also included for added safety and convenience.

The bus is currently unregistered and will require appropriate transport from the location in Tallong, NSW.

Seller’s Comments: Bus starts and runs.  Automatic doors are in good working order.  Headlights work.  Also has an Electronic Signage System on the front of the bus, but this is untested.  No other instruments or controls were tested.  Seats 46 people including driver.  Owner originally purchased bus for a motorhome conversion, but circumstances changed, so it is still in its original condition.

INSPECTIONS - VEHICLES

Standard auction practice allows for vehicles to be inspected and started during viewing, but not driven. Due to Health and Safety regulations, bidders cannot test-drive vehicles. However, you may start the engine, test dashboard functions, and open the bonnet to view the engine.

Used vehicles may have scratches, minor dents, paint chips, wear and tear, and other cosmetic imperfections from normal/everyday use.

If you live interstate or cannot inspect the vehicle in person, we recommend organising a third party to inspect it on your behalf. This could be a family member, friend, or your preferred mechanic or inspection service.

PAYMENT - AUCTIONS

Pre-Bid Card Authorisation:

To participate in bidding, all registered buyers must authorise a payment hold on their credit card. When you place your first bid, a Pre-Bid Card Authorisation will be placed on your credit card to verify card validity, expiration date, and fund availability. This secure hold amount is stated in the IMPORTANT NOTES section in this listing.

This is NOT a charge, but a temporary verification measure to confirm that your card is valid and that sufficient funds are available. At the end of the auction, the hold amount will be released from your card. Holds typically expire within 7 days, but are often much sooner.  The exact timing may vary depending on your card provider.  In some cases, if an auction runs longer than 7 days or if your bank releases the hold early, a new authorisation may be required to continue bidding.  Failure to maintain a valid credit card may result in bidding restrictions or cancellation of bids.

Please note that we do not store your payment details beyond the authorisation process. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe, our trusted third-party payment provider, in accordance with industry-standard security protocols.

Buyer’s Premium:

If you are the winning bidder at the close of the Auction or Buy Now listing, the Buyer’s Premium will be automatically charged using the default payment method listed in your My Account. This charge covers the Buyer’s Premium only and does not serve as a deposit or contribute toward the item’s final bid price.

The Buyer’s Premium will only be charged once, and only if you are the winning bidder.  Please note that the Buyer’s Premium is calculated on the final bid price and charged separately. The final total cost of the vehicle will include both the winning bid (which you pay to the Seller) and the Buyer’s Premium (which is collected by you.bid). Make sure to consider this total amount before placing your bid.

Once we receive payment for the Buyer’s Premium, the Buyer’s contact details and the Seller’s contact details will be exchanged via email.  You may also be notified via SMS.  The Buyer will see the Seller’s contact details displayed on the item’s auction page, and the Seller will see the Buyer’s contact details displayed on the item’s auction page.

The winning bidder is responsible for paying the winning bid price directly to the seller. Both buyer and seller must communicate to finalise the transaction, including arranging payment and collection of the item.
